Lawson Baby Grace
“Lawson Baby Grace Open House”
August 19, 2023–a Saturday–from 10 am to Noon
Baby Grace is a ministry of Lawson United Methodist Church that offers prayer, support, diapers, and supplies to families with children in need.
Area families in need with young children are invited to come to each Open House to receive free diapers and wipes and “shop” in our “free store” for baby and children’s clothes, toys, books, and supplies. Consultations with parent educators and Easter Seals are often available during Open Houses. There are no residency or income or age requirements to attend. We ask that you take only what you need and will use for your family and, if possible, return some items in good, clean condition once your kids have outgrown them.
We also support Baby Grace Camps which are church camps that provide families a chance to get away for awhile and experience a caring community. Applications will likely be available in the Spring for next summer’s Baby Grace Family Camp and Baby Grace Traditional Camp.
Lawson Baby Grace accepts donations of clean toys and children’s clothing in wearable condition sizes NB–5 only, during church office hours. No stuffed animals or cribs or beds, please. Donations of clothing and kids items in clean, good condition are welcome and may be brought to the event or dropped off during church office hours.
